“ Been here 3 or 4 times on different occasions. This place is worth visiting for sure! 10/10 for the amazing Malay style plates. First of all, the Malaysian Bak Kut Tuh is a signature and extraordinary must try plate, relatively big portion made for 2 ppl. Have also tried the below plates, as shown in the photos: Homemade Prawn Cakes, Penang Hokklen Prawn Noodles, Curry Laksa noodles with Prawns, Malaysian Honey Grilled Chicken Wings, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Fish and noodles in tomato soup, Nasi Lemak Beef Rendang Coconut Rice. “ This is the best Malaysian cuisine we had so far! The food was unique and beautifully cooked in a nice portion. We had its signature prawn noodles and it was incredibly rich in flavors. The starters we had - oyster mushroom in egg yolk, prawn cakes and Kaya toasts are all spot on. The restaurant is spacious with relaxed ambience, I came with my kids and this has become our favorite eatery. ”
“ Such a hidden gem in Salford. We had ordered quite a few dishes and some side dishes to share. My favourite is the prawn cake which tasted crispy and delicious. As well as the fried chicken fried rice, the fried chicken is tender and juicy with the nicely cooked rice. I also got to taste the prawn noodles which I specifically surprised by the soup and the portion is quite big. The area is clean and tidy. Also, the lady there was helpful and friendly. It was such a great place. ”
“ 1st time visit. They introduced the weekly lunch special with is 9.9910% service charge. Lunch set included drinks and the portion is large. I tried the Malay style Curry with rice (cooked with padan leaves). Tastes authentic with lots of favour with spices, curry and coconut milk as well. Beef is tender and fresh. After taste is strong as well. Definitely will visit again and try something new. ”
“ We decided to stop by and give it a try, remembering the good Chinese food that used to be at this location a couple of years ago. We started with a generous (honestly huge) portion of crispy and delicious Coconut Squid, which set the bar high. For the mains, we had the Zuo Signature Prawn Noodles and Seafood Fried Rice - both absolutely delicious. For the first time, we tried Tamarind Tea, and we’re officially obsessed! Malay Malay Home has just gained two new fans of Malaysian cuisine. The service was equally wonderful - the waiter was lovely and accommodating. The only downside was that it was quite cold inside. However, the staff were clearly attentive, as our waiter seated us next to a hot radiator to make us more comfortable. We’ll definitely be coming back! ”
